Cruise ship mini for Genuinely Jane Studios

Good morning, have you ever been on a cruise? I just returned home from a 5 day cruise that sailed from Cape Caneveral, FL to the Bahamas and Castaway Cay (Disney's Island) and it was so much fun.  As luck would have it, my one remaining wood book from my design team box was the new cruise ship book! I decided to fill it with mementos from our trip and plan on also adding pictures when I get them printed. Here is the cover:

I painted the cover with Art Anthology, Ranger and Golden paints, then added a cut out of Mickey from a book that was in our stateroom.

On the second page I added a section of our daily newspaper and also our stateroom number from a room ticket.  The third page was in honor of the pirate themed night they had.  My girls dressed up as pirates and Disney put on a show and lit off fireworks right of the deck, so cool!

The next two pages represent two of the awesome shows we attended while on board, "Villains Tonight" and "The Golden Mickeys." I was lucky enough to snag some giant mickey eared gold confetti from the show so I added that also.

The first blue page shows the awesome Castaway Cay Island that Disney owns. We stole a few shells (even though the rules were against it but I am a shell freak) so I had to glue one of those on the page too.  The next page is to represent our dolphin experience at Atlantis on Paradise Island in the Bahamas.  I have wanted to do this forever, it was so cool to be so close to them.  I attached our tickets and wristbands, as well as a few pics of the resort and a dolphin of course.  I can't wait to get our family photos in the mail!
I had so much fun making this book, I wanted to create something that would remind us of all the fun things we got to do on the cruise.  My daughters love it so much and can't wait to show their friends what we did! If you are planning a cruise, have been on a cruise, have a friend who's been on a cruise...I HIGHLY recommend getting one of these super unique, fun albums to create a memory book that will surely be cherished for years to come!
Here is my last page:
On the back I mod podged some Bingo cards that we used to play with on the boat and a piece of our luggage tag.  I cut this picture of the ship out of our in room magazine, then applied the word "remember."  Have a great day!
